This week the Pathway worship team is going to intro this new song from Natalie Grant. I first heard it at the community worship event a few weeks ago in Middlebury...and it overwhelmed me! First link is the song...second link is the song story...
Mark Batterson: The Circle Maker: Praying Circles Around Your Biggest Dreams and Greatest Fears
Great...must read... (*****)
Mark Driscoll: Real Marriage: The Truth About Sex, Friendship, and Life Together
good (***)
John Sherrill: The Hiding Place
Great... (****)
Ed Silvoso: Transformation: Change The Marketplace and You Change the World
Not sure what I think...I love the marketplace ministry emphasis...not so sure about the de-emphasis of the local church though... (***)
George Stormont: Smith Wigglesworth: A Man Who Walked With God (Living Classics)
Great book...interesting in that it's told from a companion of Wigglesworth's perspective... (****)
John Sherrill: The Hiding Place
Great book...I can't believe it took me this long to read it...must read for every follower of Christ... (****)
Greg L. Hawkins: Move: What 1,000 Churches Reveal about Spiritual Growth
Interesting...not a big fan of statistics, but the stats mentioned in this book are compelling and helpful... (***)

Natalie Grant was at the Women of Faith Conference in Indy this weekend. She was awesome. This song made the place erupt! Holy Spirit style! :)

I was just telling Bob last week that I wish we could do this song at church. So excited! I love it! :)

How did it go this weekend?!

Hey Eric...great question...the team did great on the song, and the congregation responded well!
BUT...it would have been that much more powerful if the powerpoint of the Scripture reading, which was built around the theme of 'your name,' which was to be read right before the song, and then lead right into the song (probably with some sort of applause in affirmation of the truth of Scripture and the power of His name), would have got to the AV computer before service!!!!
Unfortunately, I was the goof who forgot to forward it to them!
Great song...powerfully written...let your wife know we really appreciated it!
